I lost access to my wallet. Can I recover my vault?

Yes — if you set up Fragmented Recovery before losing access. VaultKeepR uses Shamir Secret Sharing to split your master key into 5 fragments stored across your device, IPFS, a trusted contact, a smart contract, and our API. You need 3 of the 5 to reconstruct. If you never set up recovery fragments, the vault cannot be recovered — your master key is never held by us.

My vault is not syncing across devices.

Vault sync uses IPFS. After saving changes on one device, your IPFS CID is updated on our server. To sync on another device, open the app and pull down to refresh, or navigate away and back to the vault. Make sure you are authenticated with the same wallet address on both devices. If the issue persists, check your connection and try again.

How do I restore my premium on a new device?

On iOS: go to Settings > Premium > Restore Purchase. This re-validates your App Store receipt and retrieves your license key. On the web or extension: enter your license key manually in Settings > Premium > Activate License. Your license key was emailed to you at purchase. If you cannot find it, contact support with your order ID.

AutoFill is not working on iOS.

Go to iPhone Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords > AutoFill Passwords, and make sure VaultKeepR is enabled. You may need to disable other password managers (like iCloud Keychain) to avoid conflicts. Then open a login form in Safari or any app — iOS will offer AutoFill from VaultKeepR after authenticating with Face ID.

The Chrome extension is not filling passwords on a site.

Some sites use custom input elements that block standard autofill. Click the VaultKeepR icon in the extension toolbar, select the credential, and use the manual fill option. If the site is using an iframe or shadow DOM, the extension may not detect the fields automatically. You can copy the password with one click as a workaround.

I found a security vulnerability.

Please report it responsibly through our Bug Bounty program. Do not disclose publicly before we have had a chance to patch. Security researchers who report valid issues are rewarded. See the Security page for the full bounty scope and rules.
